Jack Nicholson is an American actor known for playing J. J. “Jake” Gittes in the 1974 movie Chinatown. Also, the Academy Awards nominated him twelve times and he won thrice.
Nicholson was born on April 22, 1937, to Donald Furcillo (father), and June Frances Nicholson (mother). His grandparents raised him and pretended to be his parents. Also, his biological mother (June Frances Nicholson), pretended to be his sister. Furthermore, his grandparents brought him up as a Roman Catholic.
